 Mud Equivalent Circulating Density

 

 

Program: EQCIRDEN

Purpose : To determine the equivalent circulating density in the annulus for a depth of interest.                                          

Input       :   Mud Density:    (pound/ gallon)

                     Flow rate:Q (gallons/minute)

                     Pipe outside diameter: OD(inches)

                     Hole diameter: HD (inches)

                     Depth of interest: D (feet)

                   

Output     :  Equivalent circulating density: ECD (pound/gallon)

 

Equation   :   (1) For Fann rpm

                             (a) If RPM = >45
